The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development is in charge of managing a special fund of 2 billion US$ to provide necessary financial resources to support SMEs in the Arab countries.
This fund contributes to the financing of private sector projects on commercial and developmental basis. It encourage the flow of capital, both from within and outside the Arab countries, to finance private sector projects in the Arab countries in a manner conducive to the effective contribution to economic development. It helps develop and strengthen the capacity of the private sector by providing technical and advisory assistance.
