SME Finance Virtual Marketplace - February Session
The Virtual SME Finance Marketplace, an initiative of SME Finance Forum, and a product of IFC, is an online match-making platform that promotes partnership and collaboration between financial institutions, fintech companies and development finance institutions/ investors.
IFC does not endorse any products featured on the virtual platform or endorse any views expressed by the companies featured on the platform. IFC shall have no responsibility or liability for any party’s reliance on the products or views of any company featured on the site.
February Marketplace Session
This monthly marketplace session, scheduled on Wednesday, February 28th from 8 am to 9 am EST, will feature Leading Small Business Lenders and Finance Facilitators who will present their MSMEs Product and Services.
Following the presentations, participants can reach out directly to the presenters to make inquiries or explore partnership opportunities!

Oswald Kuyler - Chief Operating Officer - Monetago
Based in London, Oswald Kuyler is the Chief Operating Officer of Monetago. Kuyler joined MonetaGo after a successful tenure as the inaugural Managing Director of the International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) Digital Standards Initiative (DSI), established in September 2020. During his time at the DSI, Kuyler was instrumental in bringing together participants from across the global trade ecosystem to facilitate interoperability and drive progress in trade and trade finance digitalisation and standards. A leader in trade digitalisation, Kuyler remains engaged as Advisor to the ICC’s digital standards objectives and work closer with ICC UK in its mission to drive digital trade. Prior to this, he spent seven years at mining giant BHP, where he last held the position of as the global Head of Data Strategy, leading a number of initiatives that covered new technologies, electronic documentation in trade finance, data analytics and process automation.
Himanshu Chandra - Co-Founder and Director - Progcap
Himanshu started his career with Siemens which is the largest German engineering conglomerate of Europe. Post that he went to pursue my MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. His career in the financial sector commenced with his role at The Carlyle Group. This was followed by a stint with Barclays. Post that he was with Standard Chartered Bank for over half a decade in the SCF domain. During this time, he was managing a book of over half a billion dollars. It was during this time when he along with his co-founder, Pallavi who was then working with the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank Group, where she led the IFC's South Asia inclusive business investments program for MSMEs deeply understood the pain points of last mile retailers in India.
Sourav Ghosal - Head of Commercial and Strategy - APIX
Sourav heads Commercial and Strategy for the APIX Platform leading a global sales team and channel partners while also working with investors on various strategic matters. Sourav has a blend of technology and financial services experience, having set-up and run the India business for Affinidi, Temasek’s maiden Web3 venture and having worked in Barclays Investment Bank for 7 years and Oliver Wyman Consulting for 5 years. Sourav is married, has two young children and loves to travel, having explored nearly 80 countries so far.

John Spradling - Director of LatAm Growth - Marco
John holds the position of Director of LatAm Growth, leading the commercial team in Latin America and generating strategic alliances with various companies with the aim of promoting the growth of international trade. John holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies Field from the University of California, Berkeley.

To participate in the marketplace, each institution must have:
- An institutional profile (company profile and products/services offering)
- A personal profile (individuals representing the companies)
Individuals on the Marketplace can explore products and services available (investment products, advisory services, technology solutions...etc. ) and reach out to one another to discuss potential collaboration and partnership.
