New member: Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) joins the SME Finance Forum to provide financial and substantive incentives for SMEs
Washington D.C., June 8, 2021 - Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) joins the SME Finance Forum as the newest member of our global membership network. Our members are SME Financing experts from 80+ countries who share the common goal of expanding access to finance to small businesses worldwide through knowledge exchange and innovation. 
 
“The SME Finance Forum is a global body where our members network and exchange knowledge with each other to facilitate access to finance for under-served SMEs. We are honored to welcome Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) to our network of over 220 active members who are diligently supporting the financing of SME development and success worldwide,” said Matthew Gamser, CEO of the SME Finance Forum.
 
Slovene Enterprise Fund (SEF) delivers financial products based on the different development phases of SMEs. For startups, the Fund offers Start Up Incentives grants for clients to establish an enterprise. To support SMEs enter and expand in the market, SEF prepares Seed Capital, including convertible loans and capital investments. Besides, the Fund provides Venture Capital through CEFoF to spur the global growth of SMEs. SEF also contributes to the further expansion of its clients by supplying microcredits, guarantees, and special incentives.

The SME Finance Forum was established by the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) in 2012 as a knowledge center for data, research, and best practice in promoting SME finance. As an implementing partner for the GPFI, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) was tasked with managing the initiative.
